Our La Macelleria Monday Mixed Futsal Finals took place on Monday, with familiar foes GOLAZOS (pictured below) taking on Norfolk & Chance in the Grand Final. With their maiden Championship win firmly in their sights, GOLAZOS came out of the blocks strongly with five unanswered goals in the first half. Veterans Norfolk & Chance responded in the second half with three goals, but it was too little too late – with GOLAZOS running out 7-3 winners. Unathletico were too strong for Untouchables in the third-place playoff, winning 22-7.
In the other finals played on Monday, Kings of Brisbane proved too strong for NF Tractor Collective FC – winning by five goals to nil in the Somerville FL2. Purple Cobras claimed third place with a comprehensive 10-4 win over Flat Feet United.
Newcomers REDSEA have maintained their perfect form in our Elite Premier Futsal competition at Yeronga, with eight wins from eight. They hold a four point advantage over last season’s champions SAINTS, who are hot on their heels in second place. Tiki Taka and No Chance round up the top four, with our very own Brisbane Central representative team (who are “just warming up”) in fifth spot – get it together boys!
Camp Hill’s FL2 season is approaching the pointy end, with Dynamo Chicken Kiev sitting pretty at the top of the table on 38 points. Second-place The Gentlemen have also had a strong season and lie in second place, above Fiorentina Turner and Show Me Da Mane who round out the top four placings.
It’s a tight affair at the top of our Grill’d Tuesday Night Mixed table at West End, with just one point separating PADDINGTON PANSIES in first from Goal Diggers in second. Friend in Cheeses and We are on FIRE round out the top four.
In The Spaghetti House Wednesday Men’s Div. 1 league at West End, Reunited remain undefeated at the top of the table with five wins from five. Tough but fair have continued their strong start to the season in second place, with Dr. Waters Redux in third place, and Soton Express in fourth.
In Div. 2, our resident Italians Baffona lead the standings on 14 points. Underwater Squad are within reach in second place on 12 points, followed by Muy Picante and Trip Hazard in third and fourth respectively. Super Gueye are just outside the top four placings on goal difference.
Our jam-packed Ballistic Brewing Thursday Men’s league has NQ Fury at the top of the table, who remain undefeated from their seven games. Having played two games less, FNQ are also in top form with five wins from five. Unathletico Madrid are in third place with 14 points, two points clear of Go With The Flo in fourth.
Good luck to all teams on their upcoming games!
