NOMINATE YOUR TEAM
Please complete the form below to nominate your team:
Game Time: The games run on a 40 minute turnaround (17 minute halves). Games will run between 6pm to 9:30pm. Each week your game time will differ depending on the draw.
Length of Season: The number of games will depend on the number of teams in the competition. The seasons can run anywhere between 12-16 weeks.
Cost: $100 per team per match to be paid at the beginning of each game (includes insurance, player registration and game fee).
A bond of $190 is to be paid per team at the beginning of the season for entry into the competition. Teams will receive the bond back at the end of the season if no financial penalties are accrued throughout the season. Teams must pay for forfeited games if less then 24 hours notice has been given – teams can pay either by using their bond or at the following week’s match. Teams can prepay at the beginning of the season and receive a 10% discount off the total price.
REMEMBER – IF YOU DON’T PAY, YOU DON’T PLAY.
Team Information: Teams must have a minimum of 5 players to register into the competition. BCF recommends teams have 6 or 7 reliable players in the team. Teams must all wear jerseys or shirts of the same colour with numbers. Shin pads are compulsory!
Wednesdays & Sundays
Fire Futsal Academy training sessions take place on Wednesday evenings from 5:00-6:00pm (all ages) and Sunday afternoons from 1:00-4:00pm (1 hr per age group) at Brisbane Central Futsal, West End.

Senior training sessions run every Sunday from 4:00-5:00pm at Brisbane Central Futsal, West End.

ADULTS: Friday evenings – 7:00-10:30pm, Sunday evenings – 5:00-7:00pm

Monday Mixed Rules
- Teams can have a whole team of men on the court at any one time but at least ONE female needs to be assigned to the team as a substitute or court player.
- If THREE goals in a row are scored by men, then a woman must score next.
- All female goals are worth DOUBLE.
- At the start of the second half, either a male or female can score, irrespective of who scored the last goal in the first half.
- Goalkeepers may not be changed after a penalty/free kick has been awarded by the referee (until after the conclusion of that particular free kick/or unless the goalkeeper has been injured or is unable to continue playing.
Tuesday Mixed Rules
- Each team must have a minimum of TWO women on the court at any one time.
- If a male scores, then a female must score next. In this instance, male players may only attempt passes to teammates (no firm passes or shots directed towards goal with the the intention of deflecting the ball into the goal off an opponent).
- If the referee adjudges that a goal is scored after a male player does not make a fair attempt at a pass, an indirect free kick to the opposition will be awarded
- Females can score anytime.
- At the start of the second half, either a male or female can score, irrespective of who scored the last goal in the first half.
- Goalkeepers may not be changed after a penalty/free kick has been awarded by the referee (until after the conclusion of that particular free kick/or unless the goalkeeper has been injured or is unable to continue playing.
General Rules
- Non-Marking soles (shoes) must be worn inside the court area. Shoes are to be worn at all times on the court.
- No food or drink is to be taken on the courts; water and sports drinks only. All spills must be cleaned up immediately or reported to staff.
- Only players, coaches and officials are permitted to enter courts during fixtures.
- All children are to be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Prams and strollers are not permitted on the court.
- Bouncing, kicking or throwing of sports balls in the seating area is not permitted.
- Rubbish is to be placed in the bins provided and the area left clean and tidy.
Below is a list of what you need before you nominate a team or register a player into the competition:
Before registering a team you need to have/know:
- A minimum of 6 players (if you do not have 6 players please let us know as we may have players to fill your team)
- The night on which your team want to play
- The competition in which your team will play in – Mens, Womens or Mixed
- The name of your team
- Two team contacts, their phone numbers and email addresses (team contacts are two reliable people who will be in charge of the team)
- The team bond of $170 is payable up front when registering your team and weekly match fee of $85 (inclusive of insurance) and $85 fee for any friendly games or grading games that are organised. All teams MUST pay their match fees BEFORE the game. Night Managers and/or referees have been advised not to start the game until full match fees are paid from both teams
