Our La Macelleria Monday Mixed league has wrapped up for another season, with Wombats beating the odds to take top honours. Despite only finishing in fourth place during the regular season, Wombats saved their best ’til last with a surprise 6-4 win over GOLAZOS in their semi-final, before beating Prestige Worldwide 5-3 in Monday’s Grand Final. Congratulations to all teams on another great season.
At the midway point of our inaugural season of Elite Premier Futsal, Exeter Quickly hold a four-point advantage over STGW at the top of the table. Cheetahs and Saints are both just two points in arrears and will be looking to solidify their positions ahead of the finals.
BEROCCA JUNIORS are the standout team in Yeronga Futsal League 1, with a 7-1 record after eight games. Dinamo and Our Mums have five wins apiece, with HAWKIES in fourth place.
In Camp Hill Futsal League 2, SC FC have maintained their perfect record, winning all seven of their matches so far. Fiorentina Turner are the other standout performers, also on 21 points having played an extra game. Game of Throw Ins and Show Me Da Mane round out the top four.
In Somerville Futsal League 2, Q G C lead Futsal Fetish on goal difference at the top of the table, with both teams having won six of their eight matches. Kings of Brisbane remain in the mix on 14 points, with NF Tractor Collective FC four points in arrears.
PADDINGTON PANSIES are the early leaders after two rounds in Grill’d Tuesday Mixed Div. 1, racking up 21 goals in their two wins. KEMARI are in second place, followed by We are on FIRE and Friend in Cheeses.
In Div. 2, Love Muffins and LOCO have both started strongly with two wins apiece. Both GYPSIES and CHUDLEY CANNONS will be hoping to pick up their first points of the season this week.
And in Div. 3, All Gear No Idea and Quick Response are the early leaders with six points each. Mavericks Mixed and A Bunch of Nerds round out the top four, with CNS FC yet to pick up a point.
In Wednesday Men’s at Camp Hill, Futsal FC are in first place having won three from three – racking up 36 goals in the process. Therapist Soccer Team are second, followed by Dynamo Chicken Kiev. Lock Stock and Two Smoking Cars are rooted to the bottom of the ladder and are still searching for their first points of the season.
Halfway through the West End Wednesday Men’s Combined season, Soton express top the table on 18 points, followed by BEROCCA JUNIORS just a point behind. 9mm FC and FC Rolling Potatoes round out the top four. Dr Waters Redux are in touching distance of the finals placings on nine points.
As we approach the finals in Thursday Men’s, UnAthletico Madrid look to have first place locked up with 33 points. The Cartel in second are eight points in arrears, followed by Go With The Flo in third and Dragonball in fourth. Tough but fair are in with a shot of finals Futsal, only two points shy of the top four.
In our new Thursday Mixed league, Nankatsu FC are the early leaders and are undefeated after three games. Love Muffins V2 are in second spot, followed by Straight off the couch in third. 1:100 are still searching for their first points of the season.
And finally in our new West End Saturday U10 league, Pears are on top of the table with six points, followed by Cobras and Inner City Strikers.
In our Mansfield U13 league, Neymar Ninjas and Immortals both won their opening games at the expense of The Panthers and West end Warriors respectively. Good luck to all our junior teams for the season ahead!
